Everlasting Flower Panel Workshop Saturday 4th May 2024
Everlasting flower panel-making workshop
Saturday 4th May 2024 1.30 pm - 5 pm
HR3 - 15 mins from Hay-on-Wye.
Come and join me in my studio for an afternoon of everlasting flower panel making.
We will start from scratch, making a willow and wire frame in a shape of your choice, and talking through which flowers work best, and the technique of applying them to create your own unique and stunning panel of flower art to take home with you.
No previous knowledge is necessary, but some practical ability is helpful.
All materials and tools will be provided, including a superb selection of organic flowers, seed heads, and grasses, grown, foraged, and dried by me from my wildlife-loving garden, and the local hedgerows.
What to bring:
Gloves if you would like them for the wire folding stage. I will have spare pairs if needed.
Comfortable shoes
Clothes you are happy to work in.
Drinks and cake will be provided. Please let me know if you would like gluten-free or vegan options.
Please note, this is a rural location down little country lanes, so it is a bit of an adventure! I will send directions on how to get here. Please email me if you have any questions.
No refunds within two weeks of the course date.
I am already excited about what individual styles will emerge, and the creative beauty to come, and very much look forward to seeing you! X
